A downloadable game

Ambergris contains a random generator and three random tables for your Pirate Borg campaigns:

  • (Highly Contagious) Disease Generator: Festering within cramped ships are all kinds of horrible diseases, further twisted by the vile energy upon the sea. Using this generator, GMs can create diseases with names, methods of spreading, cures, and unique ailments that provide both a severe penalty and a surprising boon.
  • Weird Traits for Mutated Fish (& Fishy People): Inspired by the video game DREDGE, this D20 random table is filled with corruptions and twists to inflict upon marine life. To get some truly horrific action, it can be combined with the simple fishing system in my other submission, Scrimshaw, or any other fishing supplement. The results can double as an alternate list of physical trademarks for PCs that have been twisted by the Abyss.
  • From the Deep You Dredge...: This table provides a list of useless, useful, or horrifying things that can be found by invading the privacy of the Deep, and plunging into its solemn depths with the intent to claim its riches. Find anything from magical artifacts and spells to fossilized remains to thing best left unspoken. It also has rules on dredging itself, should the PCs make poor life choices and consider it a good idea.
  • Leviathan Washed Ashore: A table that provides 20 different wretched colossi to find washed up on your local beach. Use these as an adventure hook, background ambience, or as a foreboding omen that things are very wrong in the Dark Caribbean.

5/31 Update

5/24 Update
